The Vault Approach

ELEVATE YOUR GAME WITH SPORTS SCIENCE

How, Exactly, can we boost performance?

Training with greater intensity does not equal better results.

THE PROBLEM

Train with Strategy

More Reps.

More Weight.

More Intensity.

Faster.

Stronger.

Better.

Measure outcomes with sports science.

THE SOLUTION

VERTICAL JUMP INSIGHTS

STEP INTO THE FUTURE

Vault Research

The research division at Vault Kinetics was established to answer one question:

How do we push the envelope of human performance? Peak performance will come from training at peak intensity + peak efficiency. We're nearing the limit for what intensity alone can get us — we need to find the next edge.

We believe sports science — the process of experimentation, knowing exactly when performance rises and what underlying training variables (exercise selection, nutrition, sleep patterns...) are driving it — will get us there.

To do that, we need data. A lot of it.
We need to measure performance gains and tie them to real-world training patterns:

Vault One is our way of delivering lab-grade vertical testing technology to training centers across the country.

Vault Profiles (launching next year) is our way of helping gyms easily store performance information and view them over time to identify performance spikes and compare results with athletes across the country.

FROM THE GROUND UP

How do we measure (and quantify) athletic performance? We believe in data collected from the floor: ground reaction forces (GRFs).

Motion capture, IMUs, GPS ... each provide an important slice of the complete picture. But the one avenue for comprehensive data collection exists in the floor.

Every movement, from a sprint start to a vertical jump landing, produces GRFs. GRFs have been the centerpiece of sports science and biomechanics research over the last decade, and we chose to double down on capturing and decoding these forces to unlock deeper insights into human performance.

The Six Facets of Performance

Speed
Endurance
Agility
Balance
