Return Policy

At Vault Kinetics Inc. (“Vault Kinetics,” “we,” “us,” “our”), we build the Vault One Force Platform for coaches, clinics, sports programs, and researchers who need to trust their data. We want you to be able to evaluate Vault One in your own environment with confidence, so we back every purchase with a 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee. This policy explains how returns, refunds, and defective-unit replacements work for the hardware. Software subscriptions are handled separately (see Section 9).
1. 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
You may return your Vault One within 60 days of the delivery date for a full refund of the unit price. We expect you to actually use the platform during this period — running sessions with athletes, patients, or subjects is exactly what the window is for. Normal evaluation use will not affect your eligibility.
2. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a refund under the guarantee, the unit must be:
- Returned with all included components — force platform, sensor module, battery pack, and cables;
- Free of damage beyond normal evaluation use (no drops, liquid exposure, modification, or unauthorized repair);
- Accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase.
We do not require the original packaging, though we recommend keeping it to protect the unit in transit. If a unit is returned with missing components or damage from misuse, we may deduct the repair or replacement cost from your refund and will tell you the amount before processing.
3. No Restocking Fee
There is no restocking fee for returns made in good condition within the guarantee window. You receive a full refund of the unit price.
4. Free Return Shipping
We provide a prepaid, insured return label for every guarantee return. You are never out of pocket for shipping a unit back to us. Pack the platform securely (the original packaging is ideal) and attach the label we provide.
5. How to Start a Return
- Email vaultkinetics@gmail.com with your order number and a brief note on the reason for return — your feedback genuinely helps us improve the product.
- We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and a prepaid return label within 1–2 business days.
- Mark the RMA number on the package and drop it off with the carrier.
Please wait for your RMA before shipping anything back so we can track and process it quickly.
6. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect the returned unit, we will confirm your refund. Refunds are issued within 5–10 business days of inspection:
- Card purchases are refunded to the original payment method.
- Purchase order / invoice purchases are refunded as a credit or payment per your procurement terms.
Original shipping charges, if any, are also refunded for guarantee returns.
7. Defective or Damaged on Arrival (DOA)
If your unit arrives damaged or does not function as described, contact us at vaultkinetics@gmail.com within 10 days of delivery. We will ship a free replacement or issue a full refund — including all shipping — at no cost to you. Photos or a short description of the issue help us resolve it faster. DOA replacements are handled as a priority and are not counted against your guarantee window.
8. Limited Warranty (Separate from Returns)
Beyond the 60-day guarantee, your Vault One is covered by a Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects for 12 months from purchase. Warranty service is repair or replacement at our discretion and does not include a cash refund. A warranty claim is separate from a return — see your Warranty terms for full coverage details.
9. App Subscriptions (Enterprise)
The Vault One software subscription is sold separately under an enterprise agreement and is not covered by this hardware return policy. Specifically:
- Subscription pricing, term, renewal, and cancellation are governed by your enterprise order form or service agreement with Vault Kinetics.
- Returning your hardware does not automatically terminate or refund an active subscription. If you return all of your units, contact us and we will work with you to adjust or wind down your subscription under your agreement.
- Any subscription refund or credit, if applicable, is determined by the terms of that agreement, not by this policy.

10. Reservations & Deposits
For units purchased through our reservation program:
- Reservation deposits are fully refundable at any time before your unit ships.
- Once a unit ships, the 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee above applies.
- If we are unable to fulfill your reservation, we refund your deposit in full.
11. Multi-Unit and Institutional Orders
If your organization purchased multiple units, you may return any or all of them under the guarantee — partial returns are fine, and each unit is evaluated on its own condition. For orders placed via purchase order, refunds or credits follow your procurement and payment terms. Tax-exempt and institutional buyers should include relevant documentation with the original order.
12. International Returns
For orders shipped outside the United States, we provide a prepaid return label where available. Customs duties and import taxes already paid may not be refundable by us; check with your customs authority. Where we cannot provide a prepaid label, contact us and we will arrange a return method and reimburse reasonable, documented shipping costs.

This policy may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs your order. Software subscriptions are governed by your separate enterprise agreement.
